11 DAYS TURKANA -KOOBI FORA - SIBILOI. RESERVE This trip takes you to the remotest parts and gives you a chance to sample cultural diversity of Kenya. Day 1 Depart Nairobi through the Rift valley floor to Lake Baringo
which is one of the Rift valley lakes. Take a boat excursion
in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight at the Roberts camp. Early morning guided walk to the cliffs for bird watching.
Later drive to Maralal which is Samburu country. Dinner and
overnight at yare campsite. |

Day 3 Long drive from Maralal via Baragoi and South Horr to Loiyangalani (L.Turkana) one of the most scenic routes. Dinner and overnight at the Campsite. Day 4 Spend the day exploring the Loiyangalani settlement and have
a chance to interact with the Turkana, Elmolo, Rendille, and
Samburu tribes. Drive further North to Sibiloi Park and the Koobi fora Researchers

Day 6 Spend the day visiting the prehistoric sites at Koobi Fora,
including Elephant site, Turtle site Petrified forest and the
Koobi Fora Museum. Dinner and overnight at Koobi Fora. Drive South via North Horr to Kalacha a small Gabra settlement.
Dinner and overnight at campsite. Drive further south through the Chalbi Desert to Marsabit a volcanic forested area. We go on a guided tour of the town and visit a volcanic crater. Dinner and overnight at a budget Hotel/campsite. |
Join the Trans African highway South to Samburu National Reserve in time for lunch and late afternoon game drive you will see Animals including Lions, Elephants, Oryx, Grevy zebra, Giraffe etc. Dinner and overnight at campsite. |

Day 10 Spend the day exploring Samburu National Reserve. With an early
morning and late afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight
at camp. Early morning breakfast and drive through Isiolo and Mt Kenya region to arrive at Nairobi late afternoon. |
