| FIVE DAYS - LAKE
MANYARA / NGORONGORO / SERENGETI RESERVE
DAY 1
Depart Nairobi 8.00am, arrive at Namanga border town at 10.00
hrs. After immigration formalities, drive to Arusha for lunch.
Afternoon game viewing at lake Manyara National Park, famous
for its tree climbing lions and large flocks of flamingoes.
The park contains five distinct vegetation zones of scenic beauty.
Dinner and overnight stay at Lake Manyara Hotel. Sited on top
of the Rift valley with spectacular views over the lake, or
at your camp-site/lodge. |

DAY 2
After breakfast, taking picnic lunch with you, descend 2,000-ft
(760m) into the crater floor in four wheel drive landrovers
with pop up roofs. Full day crater tour with break for lunch
at Ngoitoktok springs picnic site. The main crater is 165 km
and contains constant animal populations of varied species.
Black maned lions, Rhinos, Buffaloes, Elephants and other grazing
animals have made this crater a permanent home. Return early
evening to Ngorongoro wildlife lodge or campsite for dinner
and overnight stay. |
DAY 3
07.30 hrs:Leave Ngorongoro after breakfast for Olduvai Gorge.
Lunch at Gorge Museum. After lunch visit various sites of the
Gorge to see where the remains of pre-historic man were discovered
by the famous archaeologist, Dr. L.S.B. Leakey. Visit an old
Maasai home on the way. Proceed to Serengeti plains past Seronera
and on to Lobo, with afternoon game viewing. Dinner and overnight
stay at Lobo Wildlife Lodge or campsite. |
DAY 4
Leave Lobo for Ndutu with game viewing in Serengeti and around
Ndutu woodlands. Locate leopards and numerous plains game, as
well as cheetahs, which are common species here. Overnight stay
at Ndutu Safari Lodge or campsite. |

| DAY 5 After
breakfast, brief game viewing on your way out of Serengeti drive
to Arusha via Mto wa Mbu village, for shopping of Makonde carvings
and other souvenirs. Lunch at an Arusha Hotel. Drive to Nairobi
via Namanga border town, arriving early evening.
